about the Castle Florence

The castle is located 10 minutes drive from the historical center of Florence on a south east hill position, offering an amazing view over the Vally of Florence. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards the Castle dates back to early mediaeval's times when it was part of a defense system along the principal roads leading from Rome to northern Italy. In medieval times it extends to a bigger Castle to be transformed in Renaissance into a typical Palazzo for Florentine nobility. |

The entrance leads directly into the huge reception with a big renaissance fireplace and 5 m high ceilings. The room is divided into a dining area with entrance into a small kitchenette and a living area around the fire place. Libraries and artworks decorate the walls. In front, a glass door leads into the south positioned Italian rose garden with sun chairs and table for outside dining. The panoramic terrace offers a waste view upon Tuscan hills and medieval castles. The private garden offers as well an old tree for shadow. From the main room a floor with fresco decoration leads into the bed room with a wooden high level for the double bed and a sofa, as well as to the small bathroom with shower. |
